TIES partner wins National Award

Dr. Mohamed Adel Alimi, from the University of Sfax in Tunisia, has received the 2010 Presidential Award for Scientific Research and New Information Technologies.

Dr. Alimi, professor of Electric Engineering and Industrial Computing, and Director of the National Engineering School of Sfax since June 2005, has developed his research in areas of robotics, computational intelligence.  Additionally, he established the University Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer of Sfax (CUITTS) located at the National Engineering School of Sfax, which cooperates with 18 international research laboratories.
